Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader

Job Overview

The landscape maintenance crew leader is a supervisory employee who works in our landscape maintenance division. This role requires a hands-on leader to be responsible for commercial and residential lawn care maintenance crews and their assigned properties.

Job type: full-time employment

Expected hours: 40 per week

Required Qualifications

• Ability to read and write

• Valid Louisiana Class D Drivers License or the ability to acquire one. A clear Motor Vehicle Record is required.

• Management: 1 year (Required)

• Lawn Maintenance: 1 year (Required)

• Class D License (Required)

Preferred Qualifications

• High school degree or GED are admirable accomplishments but are not required to work with our team.

• Skills in landscape maintenance or the ability to learn them quickly are desired.

• 1 year of experience in landscape maintenance or landscape construction or the ability to learn quickly is desired.

• Horticulture knowledge and standards of pruning, planting, digging, and mulching preferred

• Knowledge of irrigation, landscape lighting, drainage, and other landscape-related trades preferred

• Ready to work hard in sometimes extreme weather conditions (heat, cold etc.)

• Full compliance with all safe-work policies of Foret Group.

• Knowledge and ability to use landscape related tools (i.e. mowers, trimmers, blowers. etc.) is preferred
