Driver - Class D Chauffeur's License Required

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Driver with a Class D Chauffeur's License to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting team members, while ensuring their safety at all times. Your energetic approach and commitment to excellence will help us deliver exceptional service in accordance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. This position also requires working with and leading teams on the job sites.

Responsiblities

• Safely operate various types of vehicles including box trucks, dump trucks and hauling trailers with heavy equipment, while adhering strictly to traffic laws and vehicle codes.

• Competently assisting and leading team members on job sites.

• Effectively contributing to the project to get it completed in a safe and timely manner.

• Conduct pre and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Skills

• Valid Class D Chauffeur's License with a clean driving record; experience in driving commercial vehicles is REQUIRED.

• Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, and transportation safety regulations applicable at the state and local levels.

• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities (Spanish) is a plus.

• Experience working as a team with a positive attitude and solid work ethic.

• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for loading/unloading equipment and/or materials.

• Excellent defensive driving skills with quick response capabilities to traffic changes or hazards.

• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly while maintaining professionalism and passenger safety standards.
